Getting the Most from Your Candle

To ensure the best experience and longest life from your Vanilla Comfort candle, follow these simple guidelines:

1. First Burn: Allow the candle to burn until the melted wax reaches the edge of the container (approximately 2-3 hours). This prevents "tunneling" and ensures even burning throughout the candle's life.
2. Trim the Wick: Before each use, trim the wick to approximately 1/4 inch to prevent smoking and ensure a clean burn.
3. Burn Time: Don't burn the candle for more than 4 hours at a time to maintain the integrity of the container and the quality of the scent.
4. Keep Away from Drafts: Burning in a draft-free area prevents uneven burning and smoking.
5. Never Leave Unattended: As with any open flame, never leave your candle burning unattended.
6. Extinguish Properly: Use a candle snuffer or gently blow out the flame. Avoid using the lid to extinguish as this may cause smoking.
